Become a volunteer
We welcome people from all over the world to come and volunteer in our orphanage farm. Our volunteering program is an opportunity for our orphanage to receive active help from good people and for the volunteers this can be a life-changing and very rewarding experience.
The children at the Rushaga. Nshongi Orphanage farm as well as all the other farms, where Rushaga.Nshongi oversees the well being of the children, are always thrilled to have visitors. Whether you want to visit for one day, stay for a week or a month, the children will welcome you with open smiling faces.
Volunteers who would like to spend some time with the children in the farm shall assist the staff in their office duties, help the children with their home work and tour them, participate in animation of games and oversight of the children's daily duties.

What does it mean to be a volunteer at the Rushaga.Nshongi Orphanage Farm besides the above mentioned activities?
- You will get in touch with Rushaga.Nshongi and further with African culture which influences many aspects of life such as communication, tolerance of differences e.t.c.
- You're willing to help with any operational tasks for the children in the Nshongi Community.
- You're willing to take meals, breakfast etc in the same style as the children.
- You're willing to give a donation as a substitute for meals cost (15,00$ or 10,00€) per person per day.
